VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER INSTRUCTOR (CARPENTRY)
MONARAGALA - VTC
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpentry Instructor to join our vocational training team. The ideal candidate should be conversant with TVET training standards and other statutory requirements relevant to technical and vocational education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver carpentry lessons in line with national TVET standards.
- Supervise and guide trainees in practical carpentry work.
- Develop training materials and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with safety and statutory training requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate trainee progress and provide feedback.
Key Requirements:
- A graduate of a recognized Technical Institute.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the vocational training field.
- Possess a Carpentry NVQ Level 4 Certificate.
- Knowledge of instructional techniques and training methodology.
- Computer literacy and English language proficiency are added advantages.
