Assistant Manager / Manager – Financial Reporting & Compliance

Responsibilities include:

  • Stay updated on regulatory developments, especially with IRCSL & CSE, and best practices in compliance control.
  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Prepare and present reports for senior management and adhere to the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements of external regulatory bodies.
  • Investigate compliance issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and provide guidance on how to avoid or address them.
  • Provide training to employees on compliance-related topics, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance within the company.

The Ideal candidate must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or law from a recognized institute or university.
  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer/ Financial Reporting Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience in an Insurance Company would be added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
