Ceylon Exports & Trading (Pvt) Ltd challenges the status quo and uplifts the coconut value chain. The company owns and operates an organic certified factory in the coconut triangle. The company exports to over 20 countries, and conducts R&D into product innovations.
The company has two brands – Nootz and Coco House. Nootz is our novel, ready-to-drink coconut smoothie range. Nootz natural fruit flavours include papaya, pineapple and mango. Coco House is our "tree-to-table" gourmet coconut brand. Coco House products include virgin coconut oil, coconut flour, coconut sugar, coconut cream, coconut aminos and coconut butter.
Job Position
Production Senior Manager – Factory (Permanent)
Location: Dankotuwa, Sri Lanka
Time: 5:00am – 3:00pm (Tuesday – Saturday);
Salary: Competitive with OT, medical insurance, boarding and meals
Job Description
- Responsible for overlooking factory operations. List includes but not limited to -
- Production/shipment planning & execution;
- Bi-product sales;
- Efficiency tracking & improvements;
- Maintenance;
- Logistics;
- Quality;
- Manage a team of 100 workers (supervisors and labourers) and partake in recruitment, training and performance evaluation and incentivizing;
- Work closely with Quality, Accounts, Operations and R&D departments to meet company targets;
Prerequisite
- From nearby vicinity or willing to board in the area;
- Holds minimum 10+ years’ experience in food manufacturing;
- Coconut sector experience is a plus;
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills in Sinhala;
- Communication skill in Tamil is a plus;
- Over the age of 40;
