Business Development Manager-Pharmaceuticals

Our Marketing & Sales Team is looking for a dynamic, driven, determined & charismatic individual to join us.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and monitor 5 field-based pharma teams to achieve sales targets, set performance benchmarks and ensure adherence to KPIs.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and product introductions and drive growth for key therapeutic segments, with focus on cardiology, endocrinology, and internal medicine.
- Develop, implement, and monitor brand strategies to grow market share and brand equity, oversee promotional plans, and ensure brand positioning aligns with market dynamics.
- Maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) including Cardiologists, Physicians, and Endocrinologists and represent the company in medical forums, conferences, and strategic discussions.
- Lead accurate sales forecasting and demand planning based on market trends and team insights, while contributing to annual budgeting, quarterly reviews, and strategic planning processes.
- Work closely with Regulatory, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Training teams to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.
- Monitor competitor activity, analyze market trends, and adapt strategies accordingly.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing/Business will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong field background and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in developing pharmaceutical brands and managing high-performing teams.
- An established network with Cardiologists, Physicians, Endocrinologists, and other key stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and strong analytical ability.
- Willingness to travel as required by the role.
