PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INTERN (Agri/Food Science)
We are launching a premium line of wellness shots and drinks. We're looking for a passionate agriculture/food tech student to join us in developing our first wellness product.
Tasks:
- Sourcing
- Formulation trials
- Quality control
Location:
Colombo
Duration:
3 months (with possible extension)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in formulating and testing various wellness shots for taste, texture, and shelf stability
- Support ingredient sourcing and quality control with a focus on Ceylon-grown aromatics
- Conduct nutritional value assessments and collaborate on labeling compliance
- Research preservation techniques (cold-pressed, natural stabilizers, etc.)
- Work with founders to align product development with wellness and sustainability goals
- Help design basic R&D documentation, SOPs, and batch records
- Provide input on new product ideas (e.g., seasonal variants or add-ons like moringa, lemon, or pepper)
