POSITION: TUNA FISHING LONG LINE VESSELS

These requirements for our client 2nd new Tuna Fishing Long Line vessels:
Our client fishing fleet consists of over 30 vessels, including both fully owned and managed chartered vessels. They operate within the 200 nautical mile exclusive economic zone in Fiji and its neighboring Pacific Island countries.
Our client fleet operations are based in the capital city, Suva, from which we handle all logistics, services, and supplies to ensure that our long-line vessels are performing at optimal capacity. Their in-house engineering team ensures that our vessels are always in exceptional condition and performs regular maintenance checks in accordance with maritime regulations and guidelines.
All vessels are well equipped with Freezing and Ice slurry facilities, Vessel Monitoring Systems. Some of our long line vessels also include onboard ultra-low freezer facilities to maintain high quality of sashimi tuna super Freezer facilities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate for Captain Position and Chief Officer should possess experience in tuna fishing as well as conducting deep-sea bottom line fishing for deep-sea snapper.
Production Manager and a Factory Manager for our Frozen Tuna Processing Plant in Fiji. The ideal candidates should have at least five years of hands-on experience in Ultra Low Temperature (ULT) frozen tuna processing for export markets, particularly in tuna steak, loin, and related product lines.
While our operations are currently running efficiently, we aim to take our performance to the next level. We are looking for professionals with a proven track record of driving improvements and leading teams in similar or more advanced facilities—individuals who bring deep technical expertise and can mentor and uplift our team, not just those with general exposure to the tuna industry.
The employment contract is for a minimum of three years. The salary is negotiable, and we offer company-provided accommodation and transport.
Additionally, one month of annual vacation is provided, along with an annual return air ticket to the candidates home country.
All these positions demand the ability to communicate in English and age less than 50 years. The Fishing Ground is in the South Pacific Ocean.
