MANAGER - OPERATIONS AND PRODUCTION PLANNING

We are an innovative and growing company with operations planned to expand around the world, is looking for a young dynamic person to join our team as a Manager - Operations and Production Planning with proven relevant or similar experience in the following key responsible areas.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the production planning process, aligning material availability with production capacity and delivery schedules.
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations: storage, receiving, issuing, and dispatching of raw materials and finished goods.
- Validate and verify Bill of Materials (BOM), identifying and reporting material usage variances.
- Ensure daily operational accuracy within ERP and production planning tools (e.g., Preactor).
- Supervise warehouse personnel, ensuring daily operational goals are met.
- Drive LEAN, Just-in-Time (JIT), and continuous improvement strategies to streamline operations.
- Analyze and report on machine utilization, production delays, and downtime causes.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, Production, and Shipping to ensure on-time material availability and order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate reporting on material consumption, inventory, and production performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Experience & Attributes :
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations and production planning, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage warehouse and planning teams effectively.
- Strong background in material control, cost efficiency, and process optimization.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
- Results-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines and improving KPIs.
Specific Knowledge :
- In-depth understanding of ERP systems and planning tools such as Preactor.
- Knowledge of BOM creation, validation, and cost control.
- Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, supply chain coordination, and inventory management principles.
- Awareness of regulatory requirements, quality management systems, and audit processes in manufacturing environments.
