Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote and sell banking systems and software solutions to financial institutions, including banks, financial institutes and fintech companies.
- Identify potential clients within the banking industry. Generate leads through networking, and referrals, while keeping up on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in target banks and financial institutions. Act as the primary point of contact for all sales inquiries and foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct engaging product presentations and live demonstrations of banking systems to prospective clients, showcasing how the solutions meet their specific needs.
- Lead the negotiation process, creating tailored proposals, and delivering quotes. Work closely with the product and technical teams to ensure client requirements are met.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-up and the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing, technical, and product development teams to ensure the solutions presented align with market demands and client expectations.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and prepare regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, and outcomes for senior management.
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to post-sales support. Provide ongoing customer support, gather feedback, and assist in troubleshooting issues that may arise with the solutions offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of selling banking systems to financial institutions. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, core banking systems, payment solutions, and digital transformation in the banking sector.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of banking technologies and industry-specific challenges.
