Senior Channel Manager – Dealer Channel

Job Responsibilities:

  • Dealer Recruitment and Onboarding: Identify and engage qualified dealers/distributors in priority regions to expand market presence.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with dealers to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through joint business planning and regional marketing support.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with dealers to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Training and Support: Conduct regular training sessions for dealers and their sales teams on product knowledge, sales strategies, and operational best practices.
  • Market Intelligence: Collect and report insights on competitor activities, pricing strategies, customer preferences, and regional market trends.
  • Promotions and Campaign Execution: Implement incentive schemes, trade promotions, and marketing initiatives to increase dealer engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate dealer performance, address underperformance, and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline data, and market feedback; submit timely weekly/monthly performance reports to management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, channel sales, or dealer management - preferably in solar, energy, electronics, or hardware sectors.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales dynamics and distribution models.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
