INTERNAL AUDIT EXECUTIVE
Central Industries PLC, a reputed public quoted company, is a leading manufacturer and island-wide distributor of high-quality uPVC and PE products, as well as electrical switches and accessories. With two well-equipped factories located in Wattala and Yakkala, we are committed to delivering innovative and reliable solutions to our customers across the island.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Internal Audit Executive to join our Internal Audit team at the Head Office in Rajagiriya.
Job Profile
Responsible to manage and supervise all internal auditing activities of the business. The role will be to analyse the financial processes of a company, identifying risk within business practices and evaluating the controls put in place to counter these.
- Main duties include planning and executing internal audits, reviewing audit data, interviewing and consulting employees and examining business operations.
- They are tasked with the goal of improving business performance through risk management and control.
The Person
The prospective candidate should possess strong accounting and analytical skills, be well-organized, and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities. The ability to work under tight deadlines is essential. A strong aptitude for mathematics, proficiency in IT and data analytics, and excellent communication skills are also required.
- Part qualification in ICASL, CIMA or ACCA or should possess a degree in Accounting/Finance from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience in a similar capacity, preferable in a manufacturing, sales and marketing environment.
- Possess a high level of IT literacy with excellent knowledge and ability in the use of MS Excel/Power BI for analysis and decision making.
