EXECUTIVE - PRODUCTION

COMPETENCIES
- Oversee the daily production operations, ensuring that tile manufacturing processes are running efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with the production manager to plan, schedule, and optimize production to meet customer demand.
- Monitor production quality to ensure finished products meet company and industry standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage the allocation of resources to ensure production goals are met.
- Lead, train, and supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot any production issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
- Track and report key production metrics (e.g., output, downtime, waste) to senior management and suggest areas for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the production facility.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in ceramic-based industries would be an added advantage.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining high accuracy and attention to quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management related software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis and additional hours to fulfill deadlines when required.
