ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER - BACK END (DAY SHIFT)
We are looking for a technically skilled and target-oriented Associate Software Engineer - Backend to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java development and a keen interest in scalable backend architecture and full-stack collaboration.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Spring Boot and Java.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate APIs and services.
- Understand, configure, and contribute to build and deployment pipelines as part of a CI/CD setup.
- Work with databases and blob storage for efficient data management (considered an added advantage).
- Contribute to UI integration efforts using React.js or React Native when necessary (considered an added advantage).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot (MVC).
- Proven ability to write, compile, and troubleshoot Java code in real-world projects.
- Exposure to build management tools and procedures.
- Experience in a CI/CD or DevOps environment is an advantage.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Flexibility to work according to standard US hours and calendar.
