Job Role
- Be In - Charge of Operation, Service and Maintenance of several Biomass Boilers at a Client’s premises
- Ensure generation and supply of steam to client’s factory processes with required quantity and at required pressure.
- To supervise and guide a team boiler operators and workers to achieve required level of performance of the entire operation
- Liaising with the client and suppliers of various material and services for boiler operation on behalf of the company
- Carry out periodical services / maintenance according to checklists / schedules agreed with the client to ensure operation is done with minimum disruption to client
- To supervise repair and modifications to boiler plant and equipment and prepare estimates / BOQs for the same
- Periodically assess spares, consumables and other supplies requirements and liaise with Procurement Department to obtain same in timely manner
- Optimise use of biomass fuel, labour and other supplies to improve efficiency of the operation
- Assist statutory inspection personnel in their inspection work as and when required
- Ensure that ISO 9001:2015 procedures are followed for all documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- Should possess B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or NDT (Mechanical) or NDES (Mechanical) or Equivalent Qualifications from a reputed University/Institute.
- Minimum 02 years of experience in boiler operation / service (In-Charge of boiler operations and maintenance in a factory setting could be considered)
- Conversant with material specifications and spare parts required for boilers
- Fluency in English, especially in writing.
- Willingness to travel and work long hours, even during week-ends and holidays at site/s
- Preference will be given to candidates in and around Alawwa.
- Possession of a Boiler Operator license would be advantageous but not a necessity.
The remuneration package is negotiable and is based on qualifications & experience.
