DEMAND PLANNING EXECUTIVE
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to gather relevant data for accurate forecasting.
- Analyze variances between actual sales and forecasts and revise projections accordingly.
- Monitor stock levels and provide insights to maintain optimal inventory levels across distribution points.
- Support the Sales and Operations Planning process by providing demand inputs and participating in review meetings.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards for forecast accuracy, product performance, and inventory metrics.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and support liquidation plans.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely replenishment based on forecast requirements.
- Maintain master data accuracy in planning systems.
- Support new product launches and promotional campaigns through effective demand planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or forecasting roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with demand planning tools and software is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlines.
