BENTOTA

Nyne Hotels is a leading operator of unique luxury boutique hotels and villas in Sri Lanka. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative individuals to join our team at our exquisite villas located in the South.

We invite applications from experienced young professionals who are team players and willing to work long hours. Preference will be given to candidates residing in or around Bentota.

The successful candidates will be expected to build excellent relationships with guests, colleagues, and associates while embracing and enhancing our renowned "Nyne" service culture.

Chef de Partie

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Collaborate with Senior Chefs to prepare menus
  • Ensure adequate supplies at the cooking stations
  • Prepare frequently needed ingredients (vegetables, spices, etc.)
  • Follow the guidance of the Executive or Sous Chef and contribute ideas for new presentation styles and dishes
  • Optimize the cooking process with a focus on speed and quality
  • Adhere to strict health and hygiene standards
  • Foster a friendly and cooperative working environment
  • Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role
  • Excellent skills in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of best cooking practices

F&B Service Staff

Skills & Qualifications:

  • - GCE O/L or equivalent hotel school qualification
  • - Ability to read and follow signs and written instructions
  • - Good communication and listening skills
  • - Young, energetic, reliable, and possess a friendly attitude
  • - Previous experience is required
  • - Willingness to work long hours

3rd Commis

Skills & Qualifications:

  • - On-the-job training available for candidates with only a high school diploma
  • - Enthusiasm for cooking and a willingness to learn
  • - Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
  • - Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • - Eagerness to assist and learn from senior chefs
