JK Garments (Private) Limited - Seeduwa, a BOI approved modern embellishment and apparel manufacturing plant with over 700 employees, with an industry experience of more than 18 years, catering to world-class sportswear and activewear brands from USA, Europe, Japan and Australia. MAINTENANCE MANAGER / ASST MAINTENANCE MANAGER - APPAREL (JK SEEDUWA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for machinery, buildings, and other equipment.
  • Ensure timely maintenance of sewing machines, mini boilers, air compressors, fusing machines, heat transfer machines, hand cutters, digital printing machines, curing machines, automated screen printing machines, etc., either internally or by coordinating with external suppliers.
  • Prepare budgets, call for quotations, and negotiate contracts with product and service suppliers.
  • Manage labor effectively to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficient.
  • Maintain detailed records, including material inventory, energy usage (electricity, diesel, LPG, Water, waste water etc.) and ensure good discipline in documentation and data management.
  • Introduce methodologies and innovations to reduce energy consumption.
  • Lead, guide, and mentor the maintenance team.

Ideal candidate should possess

  • Graduated in Mechanical / NDT mechanical / Facilities management degree holders with more than 3 years of experience in the respective capacity, more than 5 years total experience within the age of 30 - 45.
  • Good computer knowledge and English knowledge.
  • Leadership skills to drive the team in complying with the respective law related to maintenance activities in the factory premises.
  • Candidates in the suburb of Seeduwa or willing stay closer to factory will be preferred.

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of maintenance and energy efficiency.
