ACCOUNTANT - CREDIT CONTROLLER
This position plays a key role in managing company credits to optimize business results. The scope of the position requires the individual to have knowledge on Credit Management and to possess strong analytical skills with in-depth knowledge in areas pertaining to credit management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision and managing the credit control system to ensure that all accounts receivables are collected in a timely manner
- Identify overdue debtors and initiate recovery actions to ensure all debts are recovered
- Ensure that all transactions are compliant with credit management policy of the company
- Conduct periodic reviews and recovery meetings with sales and recovery teams
- Introduce new dimensions and developments of credit management techniques and practices to the business
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Part qualification in ICASL, CIMA or ACCA
- The applicant must have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in Credit Management
- Professional qualifications in the field of Credit Management will be a distinct advantage
- Outgoing and confident personality who is able to operate at all levels
- Preference will be given to applicants from Athurugiriya and nearby areas
