Manager - Procurement
This role goes beyond operational procurement, focusing on strategic sourcing of Raw Materials (RM) and engaged in price forecasting cost optimization through negotiations, material substitution, and supplier development.
You will ensure supply continuity aligned with the supply plan, maintain RM inventory within thresholds, and drive cost-saving initiatives. Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Brands, R&D, Production, and Quality, you’ll safeguard product quality and brand loyalty while aligning category strategies with market dynamics.
Responsibilities include managing supplier performance, resolving disputes, processing purchase orders, and maintaining compliance standards. You’ll also lead MRP implementation, oversee SAP housekeeping, and develop your expertise in sourcing strategies, forecasting tools, and category knowledge. Who We Want
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or related field; MSc or MBA is an added advantage
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience, including 2-3 years in procurement within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of source-to-pay, sourcing strategies, and SAP (MM)
- Strong decision-making, attention to detail, and problem-solving
- Effective communicator with solid negotiation and stakeholder skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently and in teams
