Research Officer
Construction Research Centre (Orugodawatta)

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team in the above capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the Research Agenda of Construction Research Centre.
- Identify research priorities in collaboration with the Management.
- Conduct research and support the commercialization of research findings.
- Ensure environmental health and safety standards are maintained in all research activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Should possess Bachelor's degree in Science (with physics & chemistry) / Materials Engineering from a recognized University.
- A minimum of one year experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an Industry or Research Laboratory setting.
- Experience in Research and Development work will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required and ability to function well in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Computer applications are essential.
- Age below 30 years.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English along with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
