KIU University is looking for the right candidate to immediately fill the following vacancies at KIU Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering.
SENIOR LECTURER - COMPUTER SCIENCE
- MPhil/Master’s in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering or Data science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Teaching, in a University/Higher educational institute.
- Research exposure with a proven publication record.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, training sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Industry experience would be an added advantage.
LECTURER - COMPUTER SCIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering or data science.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Teaching, preferably in a University/Higher educational institute.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, training sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Industry experience would be an added advantage.
- Research exposure and publications record will be an added advantage.
- A Master’s degree would be a plus.
ASSISTANT LECTURER - COMPUTER SCIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering/physical science or data science.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching, preferably in a University/Higher educational institute.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and support lectures, workshops, training sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Research exposure and publications record will be an added advantage.
DEMONSTRATOR/INSTRUCTOR - COMPUTER SCIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering or data science.
- Exposure in teaching preferably in a University/Higher educational institute would be an added advantage.
- Ability to assist lecturers and organizing workshops, training sessions, conducting practical sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Candidates with final year pending results are also encouraged to apply.
