Full Stack Developer (Java Web + Desktop) - Onsite Position
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or any other related degree.
- 2+ years industry experience in development is a plus.
- Solid understanding of:
- Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Boot)
- Struts2
- Hibernate/JPA
- Swing (Java Desktop UI)
- RESTful microservices
- Experience in database modeling, queries and performance tuning (Eg. MySQL/DB2)
- Experience in javascript frameworks like jQuery and AngularJS is a plus.
- Knowledge of Responsive Web Design, Bootstrap etc is an added advantage.
- Excellent eye for design and knowledge of current web design trends.
- Well versed in Software Engineering Concepts, Patterns and Practices, and exposure to their use in a commercial environment.
- Configure and manage Apache and Tomcat web servers.
- Schedule and manage background tasks using Quartz Scheduler.
- Good communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the full development lifecycle; from conceptual designing, coding, deploying, testing and implementation.
- Research and grasp new technologies and frameworks and demonstrate their usefulness through proof of concept.
