DevOps ENGINEER
IT Department
We're looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven DevOps Engineer to make a meaningful impact and grow with the bank. The individual will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines. He/she will leverage the expertise in containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes to deploy scalable applications. Automate processes through scripting to boost efficiency and system performance. The person will also be responsible for system monitoring, ensuring reliability, and keeping comprehensive DevOps documentation up to date.
Responsibilities:
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Deploy and scale applications using containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scripting (through Bash, Python, Groovy) to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency
- Monitor and ensure system reliability and performance
- Maintain the documentation related to DevOps and update the same when required
Candidate Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Certification in cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps Engineer, is a definite advantage
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related role is required
- Proven track record of optimizing CI/CD processes and automating infrastructure, with experience in managing cloud infrastructure and services, as well as containerized environments
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services, including networking, storage, and security
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation and efficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
