We are the leading company in the import & distribution of manufacturing veterinary products, located in Kurunegala. We are currently hiring motivated & detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Accountant & Account Clerk.
ACCOUNTANT (MALE/FEMALE)
The ideal candidate possess:
- An Accounting or Finance degree or an full qualification in CA/AAT/HNDA or part qualification of CA/CIMA/ACCT equivalents.
- Minimum 3 or 4 years work experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience using Tally ERP system.
- Computer literate & fully conversant in Excel & MS office.
- Remuneration fare of Market Standard.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processing payments based on complete & accurate source documents.
- Should have a track record of relevant experience in management reporting, tax & statutory compliance in addition to accounting function.
- Generate reports, analyze data & actively support preparation of annual financial budgets & forecasts.
- Timely alert finance-in-charge on reaching minimum stock levels/lot sales due to stock shortages/new inquiries/slow moving stocks etc.
- Analyze debtors for segments & individuals, Debtors follow up & maintain status reports.
ACCOUNTING CLERK (MALE/FEMALE)
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an accounts clerk or in a similar role.
- Computer literacy and knowledge in Tally ERP System.
- Ability to understand the principles and procedures of bookkeeping and record-keeping.
- Accuracy in accounting.
- Knowledge of business-level English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to foster and maintain business and client relationships.
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to explain and interpret fiscal related policies and general accounting.
