We, Arthavida Intermediary Limited (AIL), are a leading Microfinance Company in Sri Lanka, registered with both the NGO Secretariat and the Registrar of Companies. With over 30 years of solid experience in micro financing, AIL currently operates 16 branches, providing services focused on the poorest communities across the country. In line with our future expansion plans, we are seeking self-motivated, capable, and energetic professionals to fill the following vacancies.
Field Officer
Udawalawa Branch
Responsibilities:
- Formation of Community based Organizations (CBO).
- Regularly Participating in CBO meetings, monitoring of official documents.
- Manage the lending process, visit clients for loan appraisal, and provide recommendations for loan approval referring to the Branch Manager.
- Achieving monthly loan disbursement targets.
- Conduct regular visit to clients & following-up overdue payments.
- Maintain an effective relationship with community leaders, clients and other administrative authorities.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Marketing and Recoveries, preferably in the financial or microfinance sector.
- Strong personality with excellent communication skills and a people-friendly attitude.
- Proven ability to meet monthly loan disbursement and recovery targets.
- Honest and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain effective relationships across all levels.
- Minimum qualifications: GCE O/L or A/L.
Internal Audit Assistant
Head Office at Ratmalana
Responsibilities:
- Carry out audits as per the internal audit plans and scope.
- Verify adherence to laid down processes and procedures of the company.
- Ensure the accuracy of data entry in the system and availability of support documentary evidence where necessary.
- Conduct spot audits when and where necessary.
- Prepare audit reports, analyze and summarize results.
- Observation of Internal Audits.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in conducting various types of audits.
- Strong understanding of established procedures and processes related to audit functions.
- Ability to conduct spot audits at short notice.
- Willingness to travel to branch offices located in distance areas.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare comprehensive audit reports based on findings.
- Qualification in AAT or any other acceptable accounting qualification from a recognized institution.
