Catalan Industries Pvt Ltd, a leading footwear manufacturer in Sri Lanka, is on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented candidates for below mentioned vacancies.

Purchasing Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records and update inventory systems.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and negotiate terms.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
  • Monitor stock levels and follow up on pending orders.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager with administrative and clerical tasks.
