Purchasing Assistant
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate purchase records and update inventory systems.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and negotiate terms.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
- Monitor stock levels and follow up on pending orders.
- Support the Purchasing Manager with administrative and clerical tasks.
