TAX & FINANCE EXECUTIVE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Handle all aspects of Corporate Income Tax compliance and reporting.
- Maintain and file SVAT (Simplified VAT) documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Manage processes related to VAT refunds and obtaining VAT credit vouchers.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, including:
- VAT and SVAT summaries and reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the Finance team in documenting and maintaining proper records of financial transactions.
- Assist with audits and liaise with tax authorities and auditors when required.
- Stay updated on changes in local tax laws and ensure timely compliance.
CANDIDATES PROFILE :
- Part or Fully Qualified from the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation.
- Part Qualified from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) or equivalent professional body.
- Sound knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
