BUSINESS ANALYST
Responsibilities
- Elicitation, analysis, designing and documentation of client requirements to ensure what is developed corresponds with the user requirements
- Take ownership of product(s), grooming and refining the product backlog(s) and formulate product roadmaps, by carrying out workshops, studying business functions, research etc.
- Improve systems/products by studying current practices; designing modifications
- Incorporate changes after evaluating impact to existing product and communicate to relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between all different stakeholders. Mainly Product owners, Architect, Developers, DB and quality assurance teams.
- Facilitate technical design sessions with internal IT teams to articulate and design solutions, defining project requirements, forming project team.
- Perform Test Case review to ensure test scenarios that check the compliance of the product functionality with the requirements
- Conduct user training sessions
- Follow and promote agile Scrum principles throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
- Leverage communication skills to help translate between technical and business stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent
- 3+ years’ work experience in the Business Analyst Role
- Experience in Agile environment is an added advantage
- SQL experience would be an added advantage
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Able to work independently and with others
- Self-driven
