MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER
HR DEVELOPMENT
Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL), a well-established Financial Institution and a subsidiary of Bank of Ceylon is looking for dynamic and result oriented individual to join our team for the above post.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Training & Development: Training Needs Analysis, Annual Training Plan, Define and manage the competency framework, Conduct/ Manage Training Programs both internal and external, Measure ROI, Management Reports
- Performance Management: JD/KPIs, Probationary Staff, Performance Management Cycle, Appraisals, Manage high/ low performers
- Succession Planning: Identify critical roles, Conduct specific trainings to develop the second layer, Retain best talent
- Career Development: Manage talent pipeline through MT program, Promotions, Coaching/Mentoring programs
- Employee Engagement: Recognition, Empowerment, Work Environment, Job Satisfaction, Culture, Communication
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Obtained a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management or similar field. Having a Masters or a Professional Qualification would be an advantage.
- Possess at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity as a Manager/Deputy Manager level OR at least 4 years in the Deputy Manager level OR at least 5 years in the Assistant Manager level handling similar responsibilities to what is mentioned above.
- Strong communication skills written and spoken, both English and Sinhala. Being tri-lingual would be an added advantage.
- Strong PR and ability to work with multiple stake holders to achieve a common goal.
- Excellent negotiation and multi-tasking skills.
Remuneration:
Performance based remuneration package will be offered to the right candidates, based on the qualifications and experience.
