Our client, a leading national organization in the knowledge and innovation industry, is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Manager – HR and Performance. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening internal processes, cultivating an inclusive organizational culture, and overseeing critical administrative functions.
Location - Colombo 03, Sri Lanka
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
- Lead performance management processes including KPI setting, reviews, feedback, and development planning.
- Utilize HR analytics to drive informed decision-making and enhance employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and promote best practices in employee relations.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
- Manage daily internal operations and support cross-functional teams.
- Serve as a proactive and responsive partner to the Executive Director.
- Oversee procurement, travel coordination, vendor management, and general office administration.
- Streamline administrative procedures to improve organizational efficiency.
- Maintain and update the organization’s website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Coordinate digital tools and platforms in collaboration with internal teams and service providers.
- Safeguard and manage digital assets with consistency and attention to detail.
- Listen actively and respond constructively to the needs of employees, forums, and leadership.
- Lead diverse teams and manage varying perspectives with professionalism.
- Navigate sensitive situations with discretion, diplomacy, and confidence.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in HR, administration, or operations.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to work effectively with varied personalities.
- Proven success in managing and developing diverse teams.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills in English – both verbal and written.
- Experience with digital platforms and website management.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with budgeting and finance coordination (advantageous).
- A Bachelor’s degree or recognized qualification in HR, Business, or a related field.
