Technical Sales Executives
Sika is a 105-year-old Swiss based multinational company and world leader in specialty construction chemicals with a leading position in the development and production of systems and products for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protecting in the building sector. Sika has subsidiaries in 105 countries around the world and manufactures in over 160 factories.
We are looking for experienced, male/female candidates to join a team of sales professionals to market a range of construction related products including water proofing, building repair and finishing and adhesives. Candidates must be able to exercise good judgement in all business transactions, be capable of formulating specific sales and action plans to ensure growth and profitability of the business and be willing to travel island wide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and achieve targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with the team to develop sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- A marketing qualification from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) or another recognized institute is a distinct advantage.
- Over 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction chemicals, coupled with knowledge of construction related products and infrastructure projects on-going and in the pipeline in Sri Lanka.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of contributing to company growth.
