EXECUTIVE – TAXATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare tax computations (Income Tax, VAT, FS VAT, SSCL, APIT, WHT, Stamp Duty, etc.) on a periodic basis as per tax laws
- Prepare & file tax returns within statutory due date accurately
- Monitor tax payments and prepare tax related reconciliations
- Handle & maintain tax documentation & supporting documents as per regulations
- Liaise with the Bank’s tax consultants, Department of Inland Revenue & other relevant authorities on tax related matters
- Monitor changes in tax regulations, analyze the impact on the Bank’s operations and advise accordingly
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports, related General Ledger reconciliations, SLFRS computations, MIS and regulatory reporting on a need basis
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Full/part qualification in accounting such as ACA/CIMA/ACCA or a Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Full/part qualification in a tax related discipline will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in tax compliance work
- Thorough analytical and technical skills with a flair for numbers and a strong attention to detail
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office
- Result oriented positive personality with good communication skills
