PROCESS TECHNICIAN

YOUR TASKS
- Design and develop automation machinery programs for specific tasks and special projects.
- Maintain and update existing automation systems.
- Inspect and repair machine breakdowns on automation systems and computer-controlled machinery and restore machinery operations within earliest periods.
- Carry out planned maintenance schedules on related machinery and equipment.
- Conduct market research and obtain best product and pricing for necessary components and spare parts.
- Accountable to highlight any bottlenecks in applicable processes to the immediate supervisor and implement necessary corrective actions as instructed.
YOUR PROFILE
- Technical diploma in Engineering at NVQ level 4 or higher (Electrical, mechanical or related field).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
- Proficiency in programming language as ladder logic, structured texts and function block diagrams (Experience in SIEMENS control system preferred).
- Strong understanding of control systems, sensors and instrumentation.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and single line diagrams.
- Knowledge of electronic microcontrollers and programming and with a fair understanding of pneumatics and mechanical systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
