We are a leading pharmaceutical company based in Kalubowila on the lookout for an Accounts Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle SSL and VAT payments and return submissions.
  • Oversee stock systems for departments.
  • Review and approve invoices, sales returns, GRNs, credit notes, and sample/bonus issues.
  • Manage payments and claims related to Hospitals & Pharma.
  • Maintain monthly sales reports, import costing schedules, and invoice/payment tracking.
  • Monitor consignment stock, fixed assets and staff clearances.
  • Follow up on debtors, supplier payments and free issue claims.
  • Supervise the Accounts Assistant's work.
  • Submit weekly stock valuation reports.
  • Assist with online payments and ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

  • A degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (CA, CIMA, ACCA preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of tax compliance, stock management, and import documentation.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
