Eco Solutions Cluster is a global market leader in innovative eco-friendly retail & industrial Fibre based solutions. We seek an experienced, dynamic, self-motivated individual to join the team for the following position.
Plant Engineer (Katana Plant and Madampe Plant)
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day manufacturing operations of all products efficiently and preparing an efficient maintenance schedule for all production operations
- Improving plant safety and good engineering practices to minimize hazards and accidents
- Report progress, challenges, and seek advice from senior engineers on complex technical issues.
- Auditing every process, equipment and monitoring compliance to applicable practices
- Resolving all maintenance issues & recommending improvements of the production lines
- Fair knowledge of Hydraulic/pneumatic and PLC controls
- Automation experience
Candidate Profile:
- Bsc in Engineering, National Diploma in Technology (NDT), NDES, HNDE or similar qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience as a Plant Engineer, or any other related role
- Strong problem-solving skills & should have excellent technical knowledge
- Good communication & presentation skills
