About Us
Cadigal Group is an Australia-based engineering consultancy firm that specialises in providing structural, civil, and façade engineering solutions for the local market. The company designs and delivers projects including tall buildings, hospitals, schools, and industrial facilities. With its head office located in Sydney, Australia, this employment opportunity requires candidates to work in either the Colombo or Jaffna offices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and create ETABS and SAFE models, along with performing hand calculations for building elements.
- Collaborate effectively with Australian staff and provide support to Directors and senior management team members.
- Engage in the design and documentation phases of high-rise construction projects.
- Prepare documentation in accordance with Cadigal Group engineering standards and address additional documentation requirements as needed.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Proficiency in both oral and written English, with the ability to effectively communicate with Australian Engineers and clients.
- Strong expertise in ETABS, SAFE, and other relevant engineering software, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to prepare hand calculations in accordance with Australian standards, with guidance provided as necessary.
- Experience in post-tension design elements would be an advantage.
- A minimum of 9 years of experience in building design roles.
- A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university is mandatory.
- Prior exposure to the construction industry is essential.
