OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an Executive Housekeeper to oversee operations and lead the housekeeping department in Coco Bodu Hithi. The Executive Housekeeper will manage the team, establish and implement operating procedures and standards. And be in-charge of financial management of the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage Housekeeping associates including villa attendants, public area and laundry attendants.
- Establishes task sequence, cleaning procedure and efficient cleaning schedule to carry out high quality cleaning standard for each villa.
- Identify training needs, plan and implement training sessions for housekeeping team.
- Supervise contractor, suppliers and negotiates with them for the quality, cost and service.
- Oversee the procurement and management of linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities. Implement effective stock control measures to minimize waste and control costs.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget and CAPEX.
- Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and housekeeping operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Tourism, Hotel Management or related diploma.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in housekeeping operation including managerial post, preferably in a resort or hotel setting in a remote location.
- A proven track record of leading and developing teams, managing projects, and delivering results.
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage a diverse team.
- Detail oriented to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
