Internal Audit Assistant
Location – Ingiriya
We are looking for a dedicated and committed individual who is willing to take the challenge. The ideal candidate should possess the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out internal audits as per the audit plan.
- Identify and report process improvements value-added observations for audited units.
- Enhance operational effectiveness, customer service quality, and efficient use of resources.
- Ensure adequate documentation is maintained to substantiate all audit-related issues.
- Carry out the physical verification of stocks.
- Subsequent follow-up and clearance of Internal Audit issues stated in the Audit Reports.
- Strengthen the prevalent system of Internal Controls by recommending best practices.
- Carry out special assignments/investigations.
- Assist to prepare reports of audit and investigative findings, related risks, causes, and recommendations for improvement in an efficient, timely concise manner.
Individual Profile
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or Part qualification in CA/CIMA/ACCA.
- Experience in handling internal audit in garment industry would be an added advantage.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments with minimum supervision.
- Familiar with MS Office (Word & Excel).
- A self-motivator and good team player.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Willing to travel to outstation factories.
