Responsibilities:
Coordinate imports of raw materials, fabrics, and accessories for production.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs for timely shipments.
Track shipments and ensure they meet quality and delivery standards.
Maintain accurate import records (invoices, orders, customs docs).
Ensure compliance with import regulations, duties, and taxes.
Assist with inventory management and proper storage of materials.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and finance teams.
Resolve issues with delayed shipments, damaged goods, or document discrepancies.
Qualifications:
A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in imports, logistics, or supply chain roles (preferably within the apparel or manufacturing industry).
Familiarity with import documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
