The Job:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate imports of raw materials, fabrics, and accessories for production.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs for timely shipments.
  • Track shipments and ensure they meet quality and delivery standards.
  • Maintain accurate import records (invoices, orders, customs docs).
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, duties, and taxes.
  • Assist with inventory management and proper storage of materials.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and finance teams.
  • Resolve issues with delayed shipments, damaged goods, or document discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in imports, logistics, or supply chain roles (preferably within the apparel or manufacturing industry).
  • Familiarity with import documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
