SAFETY SALES ENGINEER
PPE (WURTH METAL DIVISION)
Wurth Metal Division is seeking a dynamic and experienced Safety Officer with a strong technical background in industrial safety and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting Wurth’s PPE product range—including safety helmets, goggles, gloves, and other protective gear—while working closely with the sales team to engage with industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and educate customers on Wurth’s PPE product range in collaboration with the sales team.
- Conduct joint visits to factory locations with sales staff to assess and recommend suitable PPE solutions.
- Provide technical expertise on PPE selection, compliance, and workplace safety best practices.
- Assist in developing and delivering safety presentations and product demonstrations to industrial clients.
- Support sales staff in understanding PPE applications and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry safety standards and market trends in PPE.
- Conduct staff trainings at customer locations.
- Develop PPE range together with sales staff.
Requirements:
- Age: 25-35 years
- Experience: Proven experience in industrial safety and PPE-related fields
- Technical background in safety equipment and workplace safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and sales teams
- Presentation skills both in English and Sinhala, Tamil would be advantages.
- Willingness to travel to factory locations for onsite visits and client interactions.
