VACANCY
QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
LOCATION: DERANIYAGALA
JOB ROLE
- Overall responsibility of the quality assurance activities in the factory.
- Ability to initiate and monitor the set SOPs in quality assurance.
- Define standards and ensure consistent quality assurance & QMS methods are adhered.
- Be familiar with buyers’ or customers’ quality standards and have sound knowledge of QA practices.
- Monitor and review factory performance in terms of set KPIs.
- Lead QA reviews and make necessary interventions with the other stakeholders.
INDIVIDUAL PROFILE
- Degree or Diploma in production/ manufacturing or any other related field. MBA in production/ manufacturing would have a definite advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity in the apparel industry.
- The ideal candidate should be 45 years or below.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have lean manufacturing exposure especially problem-solving tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & work in a team-based environment.
- Ability to lead make rational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
