Our client, New Zealand Trading Corporation for their Fiji Branch requires:
Electrical Design Engineer – Switchboard Division
Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of low-voltage switchboards, distribution boards, and control panels.
- Prepare single-line diagrams, GA drawings, and wiring schematics using AutoCAD or EPLAN.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure accuracy in BOM and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical standards (AS/NZS, IEC, etc.).
- Provide technical support to sales and operations teams; alise product movement for stocks order planning.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in LV switchboard design or electrical panel building.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components (Schneider, ABB, Siemens, etc.).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
