ADMIN COORDINATOR / SECRETARY
Illukkumbura Industrial Automation (Pvt) Ltd, originating in the 1980s, has evolved into one of the largest and most extensively diversified business corporations in Sri Lanka. The Group currently manages fifteen companies across a wide range of sectors, including Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical, Manufacturing, Machinery and Equipment Assembly, Solar Power, Electrical Accessories, Agriculture, Lighting Equipment, Fire Extinguishers, Robotic Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and most recently, the Restaurant and Hospitality sector.
We are seeking a competent and highly organized Secretary/Coordinator to ensure the smooth functioning of office operations and provide essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and efficient.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Manage and organize office operations and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to senior management and other team members.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, appointments and other arrangements.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with project coordination and execution as needed.
- Manage and update records, files and databases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or similar role.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
