The Job
We are looking for a talented and passionate AI/ML Engineer to join our growing team in Sri Lanka. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-driven solutions that solve real-world business problems. You will work alongside data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to bring AI innovation into production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning and deep learning pipelines for a variety of tasks (classification, regression, clustering, NLP, CV, etc.).
- Develop, train, and deploy models using tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, and more.
- Perform advanced data preprocessing, feature engineering, and analytics on structured and unstructured datasets.
- Build production-ready AI solutions, integrating them into APIs, dashboards, or edge/cloud systems.
- Experiment with and apply state-of-the-art AI techniques (transformers, LLMs, generative models, etc.) to business use cases.
- Monitor model performance, optimize as needed, and retrain/update pipelines in real-time environments.
- Continuously explore emerging trends, tools, and best practices in AI, ML, and DL to keep our solutions cutting-edge.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with strategic business goals.
Requirement & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience in developing and deploying ML/DL models in Python (preferred).
- Deep understanding of AI concepts including supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, LLMs, generative AI, and reinforcement learning.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and popular ML frameworks.
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts.
