Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL), a pioneering financial institution with over four decades of service, is embarking on a transformational change. As part of this transformative agenda, we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in accelerating business performance, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Reporting to the CEO, your Key Responsibilities would encompass:
- Spearhead operational strategy and execution across all core functions.
- Drive organizational efficiency, service excellence, and digital transformation.
- Foster a high-performance culture and align operations with strategic priorities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A Degree from a Recognised University and or Full professional Qualifications in Finance, Banking, Economics or a related field. An MBA would be an added qualification.
- Proven track record at senior managerial level in banking or financial services.
- Strong leadership, execution, and change management capabilities.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience with at least 5 years in a similar senior capacity.
