Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of Client IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions, including virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud platforms.
  • Manage, Configure, Install and optimize virtualization environments.
  • Strong Knowledge in Administration Linux/Ubuntu/Windows Server systems, and database systems.
  • Implement and maintain container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure deployments.
  • Ensure robust security measures are in place, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to onsite engineers and other IT staff.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network, storage, and server performance issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Ubuntu system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with database Administration-Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like (Oracle, AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and tools (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work after-office hours, weekends, and holidays as required to support critical IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergencies and provide remote or on-site support during non-standard hours.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
