Manager – Wellbeing Centre

The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka (FPA Sri Lanka) is seeking a dynamic and committed individual to serve as the Manager of the newly established Wellbeing Centre at the Katunayake Export Processing Zone (EPZ). The Centre aims to provide Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Mental Health, Gender-Based Violence (GBV) support services, and general health counselling to apparel sector employees and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Wellbeing Centre
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders including MoH, FPASL, BOI, and factories to ensure smooth operations of the Wellbeing Centre.
  • Coordinate with counsellors and healthcare professionals
  • Liaise with factory HR departments, BOI, and partner organizations
  • Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and follow-up of activities
  • Monitor and ensure quality of services delivered
  • Manage administrative tasks and basic financial documentation

Job Specifications

  • Contract period: 1 year (Fixed-Term)
  • Work Schedule: 5 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Off days: Tuesday and Thursday)
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field
  • Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in programme coordination, health services or community-based work.
  • Previous experience working with factory-based interventions or in the EPZ sector is an advantage
  • Language competency: Good spoken and written communication skills in Sinhala and English. Competency in Tamil Language is an added advantage.
  • IT Competency: MS Office package
