QUALITY CONTROL / QUALITY ASSURANCE
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a degree in science with chemistry or microbiology as a subject or a degree in food science from a recognized university.
- Previous experience as a compliance officer or QC/QA officer in a manufacturing organization is very much preferred.
- Knowledge of requirements and controls (e.g., ISO/IFS/BRC)
- Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
- Excellent IT and Communication skills
- Reasonably good level of written and spoken English
- Integrity and professional ethics
- Attention to detail and willingness to work long hours.
- Reasonable awareness and hands-on applications of chemical analytical techniques is very much preferred prior to placement on a permanent basis.
- The successful applicant is expected to have reasonable theoretical knowledge in chemistry.
- Ideally be living/staying in and around Chilaw
