GARMENTS TECHNOLOGIST- APPAREL - (JK SEEDUWA)
Pre anticipate technical issues, improvements and take production feasible actions to run smooth production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Feeding production lines as per the layout and guiding sewing operators & supervisors on critical operations and handling of new & repeated styles.
- Assist production supervisors and the team immediately when technical issues are raised.
- Analyze each operation, techniques and handling, introduce new methods, techniques to improve the efficiency and the productivity.
- Coordinate with product development team to solve the technical issues in production floor.
- Attend relevant meetings such as pre-production, startup and risk analysis etc.
- Keep record and manage tracking tools of critical operations and techniques for all operations.
Ideal candidate should possess
- Diploma or course in garment technology or equivalent from recognized institute.
- Minimum 03 years of experience as a production garment technician in an apparel sector.
- Sound knowledge about garment constructions, fabrics, SMV and targets, quality levels planning and machinery.
- Sound communication in English.
- Basic knowledge in sublimation, bonding, screen-printing and exposure with quality concerns in reputed buyers would be added advantage.
- Preferred age below 45 and candidates who reside in Seeduwa area or willing stay Seeduwa area are encouraged to apply.
