ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

UK BASED

KYC Accounting Ltd (UK) currently looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to support their team in Sri Lanka. Reporting directly to the UK Finance team and you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Preparation monthly management accounts.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Posting journal entries to prepayments and accruals.
  • Assisting with purchase and sales invoices.
  • Assisting Weekly/Monthly payroll.
  • Handling Purchase ledger.

A successful candidate should have:

  • Degree in Finance or part qualified with CA, ACCA & AAT.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in finance fields.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This job is based in Keseweba & working hours are from 1.00pm to 10.00pm local time.
