SENIOR MANAGER – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & EXPORTS
American Premium Water, the pioneer and market leader in Sri Lanka’s bottled water industry, is looking for a passionate and driven Manager – Business Development & Exports to join its team immediately. With a workforce of over 1,200 and a growing presence in both Sri Lanka and India, the company also has operations in Logistics, Construction, and Polymer Packaging. We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented professional to lead strategic growth initiatives and spearhead international market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer and channel strategies to grow market share, brand visibility, and sales volume
- Lead the international business function to build and strengthen the brand's global presence
- Manage participation in international trade shows and high-impact global exhibitions to generate leads and identify strategic market opportunities
- Develop strategic plans for international business, including detailed country-specific market entry strategies
- Expand presence in key accounts, HORECA, juice/milk bars, and targeted retail outlets
- Develop go-to-market and route-to-market strategies, including entry into new categories
- Ensure long-term sustainability of international business operations through performance tracking and delivery on agreed KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Food Science; MBA preferred
- 8-10 years in FMCG/Consumer Goods with International Business exposure
- Knowledge in beverages/nutrition sectors a plus
- Strong commercial & entrepreneurial mindset
- Skilled in cross-functional & multi-project management
- Excellent in communication, negotiation & stakeholder handling
